Getting started

Navigate the workspace

Use the sidebar, module navigation, search, list views, record pages, and Recently deleted areas efficiently.

The sidebar shows only modules installed for the workspace and allowed for the signed in user. A missing item is therefore usually an entitlement or permission result, not a broken link.

The main workspace groups routes by business area: CRM, Products and More, Finance, HR, Tasks, Marketing, Website, Supply Chain, and System. Platform and Agency sections appear only for the users they apply to.

Supply Chain modules also have an in page navigation bar. Inventory, Purchase, Warehouse, Sales, and Manufacturing share the same installed Inventory capability but keep separate routes and workflows.

Find a page quickly

Use the global command or search control in the application header to jump to a page. Search terms such as contacts, invoices, employees, purchase orders, or settings resolve to the canonical route.

Within a list page, use the search field, filters, saved views, column controls, and view switcher when supplied. Clearing a filter returns the default record set. A filtered empty state means no record matches the current query, not that the workspace has no data.

Work with list pages

Most operational lists follow the same pattern:

  1. Use the primary action to create a record.
  2. Select rows for bulk actions where supported.
  3. Open the row action menu for view, duplicate, archive, or workflow actions.
  4. Use Recently deleted to restore soft deleted records.
  5. Use Import or Export only where that list declares support.

When a workspace is read only, creation and mutation controls are disabled even if the page remains visible.

Work with record pages

Record pages place the current status and workflow actions near the top. Editable fields save through the page action bar. Related records appear in tabs or smart buttons. Comments, files, activity, and audit history stay attached to the record where supported.

Do not use the browser Back button immediately after a save if the record page is still refreshing. Wait for the success notification or new route first.

Empty states

An empty state usually gives one safe next action. If no create action appears, check the following:

  1. Your role may be read only.
  2. The workspace may be in a billing or read only state.
  3. The required module or feature flag may be disabled.
  4. A filter may be hiding all rows.
  5. A prerequisite may be missing, such as a product before an inventory operation or a contact before an invoice.

Recently deleted

Contacts, leads, invoices, payments, expenses, vendor bills, employees, tasks, products, and several other modules use soft deletion. Moving a record to Trash removes it from active lists and totals but keeps it restorable.

Some operational documents cannot be deleted after they affect stock or accounting. Use the lifecycle reversal offered by that module, such as cancel, void, credit note, compensating stock move, or negative landed cost.
